So we are used to fast forwards, and we are just getting accustomed to flash backs, now are we gonna be disecting every scene wondering if we are getting flashbacks and flash forwards in the same episode? I usually catch these things, but I truly did not see that Jin was in a flashback. I kept yelling at the TV: "omg Jin and Sun got divorced and he is re-married!," and things of that nature. I should have seen it, Jin's old cell phone,
Great episode that saw the return of Mich...I mean Kevin Johnson who we will be learning a lot about next week. Where he has been, how Ben convinced him to be his spy (my guess is that he let Walt really go home, but who knows), and what he is doing on the freighter. Sun was fantastic, as was Juliet who was really convincing, and pretty much saved Sun's life.
For the people who are so sad that Jin is dead...Hsve ya been watching Lost??? JIN IS ALIVE PEOPLE!!
Lets play the time game:
OK- Sun had her baby in 2005 (this was the flash forward)
Jin was in the year of the dragon, which is currently our present year 2008; however, the last year of the dragon was in 2000 which is when jins flashback took place. He had just started working for Suns dad, and was a newlywed.
When Sun and Hurley went to visit Jin's grave you can see the date on the tombstone says September 22, 2004. This is the day that Oceanic 815 crashed. Jin is back on the island and he is alive, I can assure you.
The Oceanic 6- Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, Aaron? The promos said we would learn the last of the Oceanic 6, so does that officially mean that Aaron is one? Jin's tombstone also means that Jin is not one of the 2 that Jack referred to when he mentioned 8 people with only 6 surviving because his death date is in September, and that is what they are telling the world. This means Jin cannot be one of the Oceanic 6. I do not think Ben is one, thus Aaron is the only remaining candidate.

hockeyThanks Jonathan...it was hard for me to read the dates on the tombstone...I really liked this episode, though being a production person I start picking apart things...like Juliet's "injuries" not looking consistent. And lately some of the dialogue to me is a bit lame but I still love the show so I buy all the crap that drives me crazy. I thought the Jin story w/panda was great and I only realized it was a flashback when I saw the cell phone as well.
I need to look at my dvr again as I thought I saw Michael get a hint of recollection when he saw Sayid but he chose not to say anything. Thank goodness I save all the episodes :-)
It bothered me last week when Ben turned to Locke and said something like "I'll tell you who's on the ship" which meant that this was the first time we were not hearing news/info at the same time as the Losties...but apparently I was the only one it bothered!
I cannot wait for next week!! Thanks for the blog
