Our Next American Idol??

I have to admit, I never really liked David last week, I still do not see him selling tons of albums, making videos, and getting airplay which is what the show should be looking for...BUT this was an awesome performance.

Gary Busey is the Greatest Thing EVER!

The amount of crazy that lives within this man is incomprehensible. I just do not understand how he is allowed to walk freely outside without a big black man with an inverted white coat standing by.

The REAL Diablo Cody

He's Fucking Ben Affleck!!!

It's here, the sequel.
I think it's just as funny as the original, but the only thing that makes the Matt Damon one was that it came out of nowhere and was just amazing and fresh.
I love Cameron Diaz in this too!!

Top 5 Best Oscar Outfits

What Happens to Claire???

Here are some of the questions I had, and the world had while watching Lost last night

"Why didn't Kate want to bring her son to court? Is she trying to hide him from the world? Why did Jack tell the jury that only eight people survived the crash of Oceanic 815? According to the cover story of the Oceanic 6, who were the two who didn't make it? Who does Miles really work for? How does Ben know him? What was the significance of Daniel Faraday's guessing game with the cards? What happened to Frank Lapidus' helicopter? Why doesn't Jack want to see Kate's child? Speaking of said child, how did Aaron (!) become Kate's kid? What happened to Claire? And most of all: Why was the episode called ''Eggtown''?"

As Usual with every episode of Lost, you get one or two big reveals and a slew of questions. Not important though cause last night's episode was beyond awesome! One of the best episodes of the series if I may say so. Evangeline Lilly looked INCREDIBLE as she usually does.

The Cover story- Jack's testimony was a way of telling us what cover story the Oceanic 6 are telling everyone. Jack portrayed Kate as the hero and said she saved everyone, but couldn't help the other 2. Who were the other 2? Desmond's vision saw Claire getting on a helicopter.
Is Aaron #5 or does he not count? (yes more questions) Did Jack not want to see his NEPHEW cause it reminds him of Claire? We all know everyone is going to go back to the island, cleverly the DA said Kate couldn't leave the state for 10 years.

Locke putting the grenade in Miles mouth- Fucking Bad Ass. Do I hate Locke? Yes, but still, bad ass.

My head is swirling right now, can't make this longer than it is. Must stop thinking about Lost.

Just When I Thought It Couldn't Get Any Worse...

Devastated- That is how I felt one Tuesday morning just 2 short months ago. I woke up to learn that Jessica Alba was pregnant. All my hopes and dreams ruined by some douchebag named Ca$h. CASH!!??? REALLY!?? It took me a few days to accept the fact that I had totally lost my chance to father Jessica Alba's firstborn. She was going to be happy making shitty movies with a shitty husband. If she had only married me, I would have set her on the right path to Oscar glory and true happiness.

Today, a gloomy Thursday afternoon comes the news that Jessica is carrying twins. This sends me back right into the deep depression that I worked so hard to get out of just a couple of months ago. Why Jessica? Why? I thought we really had something. Remember when I had your Maxim spread on my wall, and we would talk about our future everynight when I got home from work? Sure you never talked back, But I could see it in your eye's . You were just as committed as I was to making our future together work.

Damn You CASHOLE, DAMN YOU

OH SHIAAAAAAAAAA!!!

One of the Best SNL Sketches EVER!

Since it's been a slow week I wanted to share this with everyone. It may not be the funniest thing upon a single viewing. HOWEVER, watch it a couple times. Everything from the facial expressions to Maya Rudolphs FREAKOUT is amazing.

Why I haven't posted in a while...

CAUSE NOTHING IS HAPPENING THAT'S ANY INTERESTING!!!!

Hopefully I will have something good soon!

Lost Recap: "Do You Want To Protect Your Friends Or Not?"

Last week's episode was hyped as a totally jaw dropping amazing episiode, and it didn't really live up to the hype in my book. This week's episode had no buildup, and it was Sayid-centric which for me usually means the episode is going to be pretty boring, and Sayid is going to go back and forth between torturing someone and being an Iraqui with a heart of gold. How wrong I was! This episode was fantastic! Sayid's flash-forward was very interesting.

Here is what we know: Sayid is the 4th member of the Oceanic 6. We now know that Ben gets off the Island, and probably Desmond too. They are not part of the Oceanic 6 because they were not on the original flight. I also do not think that Ben is the one dead person who was in the coffin in the season 3 finale. It seems to me that we are seeing everyones flash-forward, where they are in life after the island, and this is all building up to them all getting back together and returning to the Island to save their friends. No way that Ben isn't involved in the final endgame. My theory on the last 2 members of the Oceanic 6 are Sawyer and Sun, or Sun and Jin.

On to thoughts and questions about the episode:
The Ben reveal- Ben is controlling Sayid and basically has him as a personal assassin. Sayid is clearly being blackmailed by threats of the safety of the remaining people on the island. It's pretty cool though to see Sayid on the island exclaiming how he would never trust Ben in a million years juxtaposed with him having to work for Ben. Ben is pretty much the most complex character on the show. The man with a hundred passports. Not sure if the passports have any more significance other that the fact that he had multiple aliases.

The Bracelet- Sayid goes over to Naomi's body and closes her eyes, we see her bracelet and the inscription from RG. Cut to Sayis's girl that he kills, and she too is wearing the same bracelet. Not sure if we the inscription on that or not. I thought Sayid gave her the bracelet, but then I realized the inscription wouldn't make sense. Could that bracelet be some sort of sign that the woman worked for the same people as Naomi?

The Hurley Scam- Hurley duping Sayid, Kate, and Miles came out of nowhere for me. I though that's how they were going to explain how Hurley becomes one of the Oceanic 6, but alas I was mistaken, and stunned when Locke said "Thanks Hugo." That was pretty awesome. I hate how everyone just completely trusts Locke now, even though they are somewhat wary of him. They have blindly let him be their leader, and it just doesn't seem right.

The Time Shift- The rocket that landed on the island sure took a long time to reach it's destination didn't it. What should have taken 3 minutes took 31...or did it? Is there a time shift on the island? could the island be contained in some sort of bubble force field with it's own time shift? I have no idea how to theorize this especially since I suck at math!

The Takeoff- Sayid and Desmond takeoff in the Helicopter! So awesome they are getting off the island...or are they? I can't imagine they won't run into some sort of turbulence or problem getting to the freighter where they will inevitably meet Ben's spy, Michael.

Next week's episode is Kate-centric, so I bet we learn who her man is, and how she got away from going to jail.

No One Gives a SHIT About Paris Hilton Anymore!!

Watch the video below, and watch as no one but a few guys pays any attention to Paris's attempts at getting attention. Sure she is drunk, and we all know how Paris gets when she's had a few too many, but come on! Singing your own song in the club, and dancing on stage is one thing when people are watching and screaming your name, sort of like Wilmer Valderamas dreams every night, but look at all the people in the background just going about their clubbing and not noticing anything. Paris you done. Stop dancing. Stop singing. Stop shopping. Just Stop. Stop Living.

Indiana Jones 4 teaser Trailer is here!!

DAMN

Kanye's New Video is AWESOME!

Go Kanyeezee!
For some reason this video is being shown with warning labels due to its graphic and violent content.
Ummmmmm The only graphic content in this video is the womans gigantic boobs sloshing back and worth as she walks. All you see is Kanye gagged in the trunk, and then she beats on him with a shovel, and they don't show you anything, no blood, body parts, nada.
People will make anything controversial, it's so stupid. Like the time I tore a hole in my jeans in 1996, and mothers covered their children's eyes as I walked through the street. Well mothers, 10 years later everyone is doing it!

JASON KIDD TRADED TO THE DALLAS MAVERICKS!!!!!

BACK WHERE HE STARTED BABY!! BRING ME A CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

Official Story: Less than 48 hours ago, Jason Kidd was privately telling people he feared he wouldn't get out of New Jersey before the trade deadline next week. Yet just when he was losing hope, the Nets agreed in principle to deliver the All-Star point guard to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday afternoon, a source close to the negotiations told Yahoo! Sports.

Kidd and Malik Allen will go to Dallas for 24-year-old point guard Devin Harris, Jerry Stackhouse, DeSagana Diop, Devean George, Maurice Ager, $3 million and two future No. 1 draft picks. In a side deal, the Nets sent guard Antoine Wright to Dallas for a future second-round pick.

USC & The Coliseum: Deal or No Deal?

USC and The Coliseum have agreed on a brand spankin new 25 year lease!! This means Trojans will not have to tailgate to the dreaded Rose Bowl. They also agreed on naming right which essentially means a big company will be footing the bill for all the improvements and tacking their names on to the Coliseum. I can see it now "The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Presented By Trojan Condoms."

Congrats Jack!!!

Jack Johnson's Sleep Through the Static had an amazing first week in stores and debuted at number 1 on the charts with his best sales week ever, and scored a digital record. Go Jack!!

Here is the story from Billboard:

Jack Johnson scores his second Billboard 200 chart-topper -- and his biggest sales week yet -- as "Sleep Through the Static" climbs on board at No. 1. The Brushfire set moved 375,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, which outdoes the 163,000 start of the soundtrack to 2006's "Curious George," Johnson's other No. 1. Of the new album's total, 139,000 units (37%) were digital downloads, making it the biggest sales week for a digital set since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking such sales. The previous high came when Kanye West's "Graduation" moved 133,000 digital albums in its first week last year.

Miley Cyrus Loves All Her Fans

This picture is like a Catch 22. I can't not look at it cause it's fucking amazing. But everytime I look at it I throw up in my mouth a little. Sadly the first thing that comes to my mind when I really think about this picture is that in 3 year Miley is gonna beg to have this HUMONGOUS guy around so she doesn't need to worry about having enough room on the glass table to snort all the lines of Coke she's going to be doing.

Gary Coleman No Longer a Virgin!

This story is just too fucking good. ROTFLMFAO

Former child star Gary Coleman – who's now 40 – married Shannon Price, whom he'd met on a movie set, last Aug. 28, her 22nd birthday, Coleman reveals to Inside Edition.

The onetime Diff'rent Strokes star also admits that this is his first-time-ever romantic relationship.

"I never got the opportunity to be romantic or feel romantic with anyone," he says. "I wasn't saving myself, she just happened to be the one."

The couple's nuptials happened, "on a mountaintop," according to Coleman. "Nobody was around but the minister, preacher, the videographers, the photographer, the helicopter pilot and us. That was all that was there. There was nobody else.”

They Have Their Diff'rences

Not that the newlyweds don't have their differences. "We may go a week and not speak to each other," he says, while she claims, "He lets his anger conquer him sometimes. … He throws things around, and sometimes he throws it in my direction."

She adds, "I don't like the violence."

Then there is the fact that he stands 4'8", while she is more than 5'7". But, says the bride: "He was 10 feet tall to me, because he was sweet and I really liked his personality."

As for the 18 years between them, "I don't have issues with age, I have issues with intelligence," says Coleman. "She's more intelligent than I am, and that's what matters to me."

Price handles the sale of Coleman's memorabilia on e-Bay, and says that when she met him on the set of the movie Church Ball she wasn't aware of his fame.

"I didn't grow up with Diff'rent Strokes," she says. "I actually didn't like watching TV when I was younger."

Grammy Award Predictions!

The 50th annual Grammy's are this Sunday night, and I have to say this is the most fun awards show of the year because of all the cool collaborations, performances, and surprising wins. Much more fun than the Golden Globes, or the Oscars!

Here are my predictions for who is going to take home the big prizes! Check back Sun night for a complete listing of winners.

Record of the Year

  • Beyonce - "Irreplaceable"
  • Foo Fighters - "The Pretender"
  • Rihanna featuring Jay-Z - "Umbrella"
  • Justin Timberlake - "What Goes Around...Comes Around"
  • Amy Winehouse - "Rehab"

Will Win & Should Win: Rihanna featuring Jay-Z - "Umbrella. This was easily the catchiest song of the year. If you hate hip hop, or pop music you still had the Ella, Ella, Ella ay in your head all year. though irreplaceable was also a giant hit, it peaked too early last year, and Grammy voters are a finicky bunch.

Album of the Year

  • Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace
  • Vince Gill - These Days
  • Herbie Hancock - River: The Joni Letters
  • Kanye West - Graduation
  • Amy Winehouse - Back to Black

Will Win & Should Win- Kanye West- Graduation- This album will also sweep all the hip hop categories

Song of the Year

  • Plain White T's - "Hey There Delilah"
  • Corinne Bailey Rae - "Like a Star"
  • Rihanna featuring Jay-Z - "Umbrella"
  • Carrie Underwood - "Before He Cheats"
  • Amy Winehouse - "Rehab"

Will Win & Should Win- Amy Winehouse - "Rehab- This is a 2 way race between Amy and Rihanna. I believe Amy will win however as Song of the Year usually is awarded to writers and producers of the actual song. Rihanna did not write Umbrella, it was written by 4 people. Amy wrote it on her own.

Best New Artist

  • Feist
  • Ledisi
  • Paramore
  • Taylor Swift
Amy Winehouse Will & Should Win- Amy Winehouse- With all the nominations she has no way she loses this one.

Best Female Pop Vocal

  • Chrisina Aguilera - "Candyman"
  • Feist - "1,2,3,4"
  • Fergie - "Big Girls Don't Cry"
  • Nelly Furtado - "Say It Right"
  • Amy Winehouse - "Rehab"

Will Win- Amy Winehouse - "Rehab- Bitch is gonna clean up the Grammys

Should Win- Fergie- Big Girls Don't Cry- This was a simple song that showed Fergie could do more than move her lady lumps. With only one nomination doesn't seem like Grammy will be making Fergie's night Fergalicious.

Best Male Pop Vocal

  • Michael Buble - "Everything"
  • John Mayer - "Belief"
  • Paul McCartney - "Dance Tonight"
  • Seal - "Amazing"
  • Justin Timberlake - "What Goes Around...Comes Around"

Will Win- Paul McCartney - "Dance Tonight"- Never heard of this song, but Grammys always skew old and give it away to people who don't deserve it just because they are icons (remember Steely Dan beating U2?)

Should Win- Justin Timberlake - "What Goes Around...Comes Around"- With every single song that Justin releases he continuously proves that he is destined to become a legend in this business. This one is just a great pop song with so many elements that come together and work.

Best Pop Duo or Group With Vocal

  • Bon Jovi - "(You Want to) Make A Memory"
  • Daughtry - "Home"
  • Maroon 5 - "Makes Me Wonder"
  • Plain White T's - "Hey There Delilah"
  • U2 - "Window in the Skies"

Will Win & Should Win- Plain White T's - "Hey There Delilah"- Another iconic song of 2007 that the Grammy will not want to pass on especially if Rumors of Delilhah being in attendance are true.

Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals

  • Tony Bennett & Christina Aguilera - "Steppin' Out"
  • Beyonce & Shakira - "Beautiful Liar"
  • Robert Plant & Alison Krauss - "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)"
  • Gwen Stefani & Akon - "The Sweet Escape"
  • Timbaland featuring Nelly Furtado & Justin Timberlake - "Give It To Me"

Will Win- Tony Bennett & Christina Aguilera - "Steppin' Out- Just cause I don't think they will give it to the song that deserves it.

Should Win- Timbaland featuring Nelly Furtado & Justin Timberlake - "Give It To Me"- A diss record that hit it big

Best Pop Vocal Album

  • Bon Jovi - Lost Highway
  • Feist - The Reminder
  • Maroon 5 - It Won't Be Soon Before Long
  • Paul McCartney - Memory Almost Full
  • Amy Winehouse - Back to Black
Will & Should Win- Amy Winehouse - Back to Black

Best Solo Rock Vocal

  • Beck - "Timebomb"
  • Paul McCartney - "Only Mama Knows"
  • John Mellencamp - "Our Country"
  • Bruce Springsteen - "Radio Nowhere"
  • Lucinda Williams - "Come On"

Will Win- Bruce Springsteen - "Radio Nowhere"- The music industry was shocked that the boss didn't get a best album nomination. This is how the Grammy's will rectify their "mistake."

Should Win- Beck - "Timebomb- It's the best ROCK vocal, not the best OLD PEOPLE SINGING vocal.

Best Rock Duo or Group With Vocal

  • Daughtry - "It's Not Over"
  • Green Day - "Working Class Hero"
  • Nickelback - "If Everyone Cared"
  • U2 - "Instant Karma"
  • The White Stripes - "Icky Thump"

Will Win- U2 - "Instant Karma"

Should Win- The White Stripes - "Icky Thump" or Daughtry - "It's Not Over"- Both great songs albeit very different in genre.

Best Hard Rock

  • Evanescence - "Sweet Sacrifice"
  • Foo Fighters - "The Pretender"
  • Ozzy Osbourne - "I Don't Wanna Stop"
  • Queens of the Stone Age - "Sick, Sick, Sick"
  • Tool - "The Pot"

Best Rock Song

  • Daughtry - "It's Not Over"
  • Foo Fighters - "The Pretender"
  • Bruce Springsteen - "Radio Nowhere"
  • White Stripes - "Icky Thump"
  • Lucinda Williams - "Come On"

Best Rock Album

  • Daughtry - Daughtry
  • John Fogerty - Revival
  • Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace
  • Bruce Springsteen - Magic
  • Wilco - Sky Blue Sky
Will Win & Should Win- The Foo Fighters should clean up all the major Rock categories. If your nominated for album of the year then by default you should win the other categories where your nominated. Again Bruce Springsteen is the only one who could pull off a major upset here.

Lost Recap: "Rescuing You People Is Not Our Main Objective"

Another episode of Lost, and another slew of new characters, backstories, and questions. It wouldn't be a Lost episode without it!
Though this episode was heavily hyped as being far superior to last week's brilliant opener, I was a little let down by it only because it was hyped so much.

Lets begin with our 4 newbies shall we?

Daniel- He was watching the news with the footage of the crash, and he wept. Why did he weep? He almost seems Autistic. I know scientists are supposed to be weird, but he took weird to another level with his hand gestures and ticks. I couldn't tell if he was manipulating our crew, or if he was genuinely weird.

Miles- The Ghostbuster of the crew. I really don't like when they bring in mystical elements. I don't want this show to turn out to be a sci-fi series. However, Miles was a fun character to watch. He also is connected to Oceanic 815 somehow. Obviously all 4 of them are.

Charlotte- An archeologist who had to pick up any newspaper that had anything about the crash on it. She truly seemed to have no knowledge of anything that was going on, but she was prepared for the worst seeing as she was wearing a bullet-proof vest.

Lapidus- The pilot who was supposed to be piloting Oceanic 815 when it went down. Not much else was revealed about him other than he is a drunk. I am sure he will

Obviously these 4 have a very strong connection to Oceanic Flight 815 that we just do not know about, and we probably won't know until they produce more episodes. Maybe they were all supposed to be on the plane originally?

We know they are here for Ben. Ben knows they are here for him. WHAT DO THEY WANT WITH BEN! Maybe the company that Ben has been working for wanted to extract him from the Island. Right now Abbaddon is the person pulling the strings. I am sure he works for someone, but just to get things straight: Abbaddon hired Naomi who went with the 4 to oversee the mission, and presumably the 4 do not know the actual mission and are there because of their skills.

The episode ends with Ben exclaiming he knows all this because he has a man on their boat. Hmmm I wonder who his man if?? Does Ben seem like the type to just let someone go without expecting anything in return? He wouldn't just let someone get off the island for nothing. I am gonna go ahead and take a wild guess that Ben's man on the boat is Michael, and since episode 8 is titled "Meet Kevin Johnson," I bet Kevin Johnson is Michael working for Ben on their boat.

Awesome writing to explain that the Locke survived the bullet wound because he had no Kidney. The same Kidney his father conned him into giving up. Bad writing though that 5 min after the previous episode Charlie is completely forgotten and we see Claire playing with the Aaron and laughing as if she has no care in the world.

Questions:
Is Oceanic behind all this? Is Oceanic just a dummy company that used flying as cover? Clearly the plane that was discovered in the ocean isn't our Oceanic. The pilot isn't the same pilot who was killed by the smoke monster all the way back in episode 1.

What the hell is up with the Polar Bears, and now the Cow with a bell on?? I can't even begin to tackle that one, but maybe they were used as the

Why did Daniel have a gas mask? Gas masks have been very prevalent on this island. Inman used one when he dragged Desmond onto the beach, and Ben's crew used them when they killed the rest of their crew.

How did Lapidus land the helicopter so perfectly, and if he is such a pro, why did he wake up so far away from the Helicopter??

Best moment of the Night: Hurley talking about the cabin, stopping Locke in his tracks.

Quote of the Night: "Sure, who are we to argue with taller ghost-Walt?!"—Sawyer

Until next week! Namaste!

Heath Ledger Autopsy Results

Accidental Overdose.
Not hard core drugs like cocaine, heroine, or anything else that he was rumored to be taking.

here is the story straight from the AP:

NEW YORK - Heath Ledger died of an accidental overdose of painkillers, sleeping pills, anti-anxiety medication and other prescription drugs, the New York City medical examiner said Wednesday.

The cause of death was "acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine," spokeswoman Ellen Borakove said in a statement.

The drugs are the generic names for the painkiller OxyContin, the anti-anxiety drugs Valium and Xanax, and the sleep aids Restoril and Unisom. Hydrocodone is a prescription painkiller.

Borakove wouldn't say what concentrations of each drug were found in Ledger's blood, or whether one drug played a greater part than another in causing his death.

"What you're looking at here is the cumulative effects of these medications together," she said.

The ruling comes two weeks after the 28-year-old Australian-born actor was found dead in the bed of his rented SoHo apartment. Police found bottles of six types of prescription drugs in his bedroom and bathroom, and a rolled-up $20 bill near the bed.

In a statement released through Ledger's publicist, the actor's father, Kim, said Wednesday: "While no medications were taken in excess, we learned today the combination of doctor-prescribed drugs proved lethal for our boy. Heath's accidental death serves as a caution to the hidden dangers of combining prescription medication, even at low dosage."

"Last week I probably slept an average of two hours a night," Ledger told The New York Times. "I couldn't stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was still going." He said he had taken two Ambien pills, which only gave him an hour of sleep.

Jack Johnson's "Sleep Through the Static" In Stores Today!

Please go out and grab Jack Johnson's 4th studio album in stores today. The album is titled "Sleep Through the Static," and is the follow up to his 2005 album "In Between Dreams." Jack took a self imposed 3 year break from recording and touring to be with his family, surf, and just enjoy life, so this album has been a long time coming for fans.

Though not much of a departure from his previous work, "Static" is a little bit darker, and explores themes of war, and death. Jack lost his best friend to cancer, and his feelings and the way he dealt with it are explored on the new disk.

Standout tracks include Hope, Go On, Enemy, and Sleep Through the Static.

The album starts out a little slow and dark. The second half of the album is more Jack's previous style. Repeat listening is the best way to listen to this album. Start to finish the way Jack intended, but listen to it again, let the lyrics sink in, and enjoy the calming effect Jack can have. Is this the best Jack Johnson album yet? My answer would be No. Is it a great album? Yes

I give it 4 1/2 stars out of 5

UPDATE:

Jack Johnson's new Brushfire/Universal Republic album, Sleep Through the Static, has awakened music fans, according to one-day reports from our crack retail sources still working around this great country. The surfer-turned-singer-songwriter's first album since his 2006 Curious George soundtrack, looks set to move some 330k and, thanks to a huge Triple A smash in "If I Had Eyes," will easily debut at #1, with the added fillip of a Valentine's Day weekend. It's been #1 at iTunes since last year on pre-orders alone, and is on target to surpass Kanye West's one-week download record.

Superbowl Ratings

The Giants weren't the only ones marking milestones at Sunday's Superbowl XLII. The game made history as the highest-rated Super Bowl in the history of the game, with 97.5 million viewers, according to Nielsen.

Last night's game peaked between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. with 105.7 million viewers.

Not only did the event best its own record, which was set at the 1996 Dallas-Pittsburgh game with an audience of 94.08 million, but it also scored as the second most-watched television broadcast in the country's history, after M*A*S*H's 1983 finale, which tallied 106 million.

Dennis P. Zine for President

Los Angeles Councilman Dennis P. Zine has proposed an ordinance to protect celebrities' personal space.

"This is about common decency," Zine said following an LA City Council meeting. "We don't want to put the media out of business, but there has to be some reason when they do their job."

According to his plan, celebrities will be entitled to "Personal Safety Zones" which the paparazzi cannot invade. In theory, this would require the space between a celeb and a paparazzo to be wide enough to drive a car through.

The ordinance is set to protect not only celebs, but the photogs and innocent bystanders as well.

"It has gotten outrageous," Zine said of the intense media coverage of celebrities. "If we don't do anything, we could see someone seriously injured or killed."

*** The fact that it has taken this long for anyone to issue this kind of statement, or propose somt sort of solution is beyond ridiculous. This is taking the freedoms we have been given an American's and completely abusing it. I will do whatever I can to support this plan.

Breakthrough in Strike Negotiations says The Hollywood Reporter

A breakthrough in contract talks has been reached between Hollywood studios and striking writers and could lead to a tentative deal as early as next week, a person close to the ongoing negotiations said Saturday.

The two sides breached the gap Friday on the thorniest issues, those concerning compensation for projects distributed via the Internet, said the person, who requested anonymity because he were not authorized to speak publicly.

A second person familiar with the talks, also speaking on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to comment publicly, said that significant progress had been made and a deal might be announced within a week.

The people did not provide specific details on the possible agreement. Major points of contention include how much and when writers are paid for projects delivered online after they've been broadcast on TV.

The studios have been insisting that programs be streamed online for a certain period, deemed promotional, during which writers would forgo residuals. When payment kicked in, the companies sought to limit it to a flat $1,200 fee, while the guild wanted a percentage of a distributor's revenue.

The Writers Guild of America did not immediately reply to a request for comment. The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, the trade group representing the studios, declined comment, citing a news blackout agreed to by both sides during the talks.

Guild leaders have said they are fighting for a piece of the future, reflecting the widespread belief that Internet-delivered entertainment fare would inevitably claim an increasing and perhaps even dominant market share.

Although work remains to be done on elements of the agreement, prospects for a deal appeared solid, said those close to the situation. The tentative agreement would have to be approved by a majority of guild members.

The guild, whose 3-month-old strike has brought the entertainment industry to a standstill, began informal talks with top media company executives Jan. 23 in an attempt to reach a new deal covering governing work for film, TV and digital media.

Negotiations between the guild and alliance negotiators collapsed Dec. 7 after the alliance demanded that proposals for unionization of animation and reality shows be taken off the table. The guild refused.

During the negotiations impasse, the Directors Guild of America began its own talks with studio chiefs and swiftly reached a tentative deal that was announced Jan. 17 and covered some of the digital media issues key to the writers guild.

Major studio executives called on the writers guild to begin informal talks, which essentially are standing in for formal negotiations, according to those familiar with the situation.

The guild extended its own olive branch before the informal talks started by withdrawing the reality-animation unionization proposal and by deciding to keep pickets away from the Grammy Awards. It has since decided to allow the music ceremony to proceed with full union support.

However, the fate of the Feb. 24 Academy Awards has remained in question, with the guild so far declining to grant its blessing to the show. A union refusal to cooperate with the Golden Globes decimated the ceremony, which was boycotted by supportive actors.

Oscar organizers and producers have vowed they will stage some type of show, with or without union support -- but a writers guild deal would allow this ceremony to proceed in its full, star-studded glory, providing an invaluable promotional showcase for movie studios and their films.

Sarah Silverman is Fucking Matt Damon

Wow this is so fucking hilarious. Props to Matt Damon for his rapping and stepping skills.

Michelle Williams Releases Statement:

"Please respect our need to grieve privately. My Heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him."

LOST recap: "I'm One of the Oceanic 6!!"

The moment you all have been waiting for is here. No no, not that Lost came back last night, but more importantly the infamous Lost blog is back by popular demand!

Lost returned last night to a dominating 16 million viewers up by a few million eyeballs compared to the season finale in May. The anticipation could not have been any higher as the breathtaking season finale brought Lost right back into the cultural zeitgeist.

Lost completely delivered on the hype and excitement coming into last night's episode. It not only delivered but built on the momentum it had gained after the season finale. We learned a lot last night, but in traditional Lost style that only opened up a slew of new questions.

The Oceanic 6: We now know that 6 people get off the island. They are dubbed The Oceanic 6, and have become celebrities. We know the identity of 3 of the Oceanic 6- Jack, Kate, and Hurley. Speculation over the other 3 has begun, and all we know is that the other 3 HAVE to be people who were on the flight since they were dubbed the Oceanic 6. Sorry Desmond you are going to have to wait to see your Penelope! Sorry Juliet you are not going to see your sister anytime soon...if she's still alive. We also now know the reason Jack wanted to go back to the Island. The Oceanic 6 clearly left everyone behind. Whether they are all dead, or still alive on the island remains to be seen. If I was a betting man, I would say that they are all still alive, and on the island for some reason. Could Ben's or Locke's powers of persuasion really have changed that many people's minds about getting rescued? I think the other 3 members of the Oceanic 6 will be revealed throughout the season, and we will see one recurring theme among their flash forwards: They all regret getting rescued, and will all want to go back to the island. I think that is what season 5 and 6 will be. Lost: The return

In the season 3 finale, we learned that Jack and Kate got off the island. We were not aware of the Oceanic 6 yet. We also saw a coffin, an obituary buried deep in the newspaper, and a funeral that no one attended. Last night we learned that the Oceanic 6 are celebrities. Thus, the person in the coffin could not have been one of the Oceanic 6 because that person's death would have been covered more, and as a celebrity an empty funeral is not plausible. This death could easily have been one of the others (Ben).

Credits: Another curious event from last night. Pay attention to the credits. Besides Charlie still being listed as a series regular, the name Harold Perrineu was also in the series regular cast credits. For those of you who do not know, Harold is Michael. The character who got off the island at the end of season 2. Yes he is returning to the show; however, that return is/was not scheduled until episode 8 which will serve as this season's finale due to the writer's strike. If you think this was the only weird thing about the credits, think again. The name John Terry was listed as a guest star. John Terry plays Jack's dad Christian. I am guessing most people did not see Jack's dad on last night's episode; HOWEVER, when Hurley was at the weird house, he peeked inside and saw someone in a rocking chair. That someone who we have come to know as Jacob. Well if you look at the image I posted above, you will see exactly who is in that rocking chair!

Hurley: Hurley was on fire last night. Jorge Garcia is just a fantastic actor. He can play the silly comic relief so well, but when the script calls for it, he brings an intensity, sadness, and heartbreak that not many people can bring to a character. His interaction with ghost Charlie, and Claire was so sad, but honest. Why didn't he admit to Ana Lucia's old partner that he knew who she was? Their is clearly some sort of the pact that was forged between the Oceanic 6 not to divulge anything that happened on that island. Then Matthew Abbaddon went to see Hurley at the psych ward which was very creepy, and I got chills when he asked "Are they still alive?" Shadiness I tell you, Shadiness!

Jack: Moment of the night. Jack pulls the trigger on Locke. Badass. The gun wasn't loaded however. Too bad. If I was Jack I would have figured it out, and killed the fucker! Future Jack playing basketball with Hurley are events that clearly happen before the flash forward we saw in the season finale.

Other lingering questions: If Charlie told Desmond that it was not Penny's boat, why didn't Desmond go with Locke?
Who is Naomi's sister? Was it relevent when she said "Tell my sister I love her?"
Who is Matthew Abbaddon? The name has some relevance as Matthew means Gift of the Lord, and Abbaddon is the Angel of the Abyss(everyone was talking about that name this morning).

From what I am hearing next week's episode is the one that will have us screaming HOLY SHIT from our couches as we meet the rescuers.

Here are the episode numbers and who the flashbacks/flashforwards feature:

401- The Beginning of the End- Hurley
402- Confirmed Dead-The Rescuers
403- The Economist- Sayid
404- Eggtown- Kate
405- The Constant- Desmond
406- The Other Woman- Juliet
407- Ji Yeon- Sun & Jin
408- Meet Kevin Johnson- Michael

Stay tuned here every Friday morning for a new Lost Recap!
