Playoff Predictions

After this weekend the Superbowl picture will be clear. Half of it is clear already as there is no chance that the Chargers can win. If the Chargers do win, it would arguably be considered one of the biggest playoff upsets in the history of the NFL. Right now the Patriots are favored by 13 points, but I just do not see the Chargers pulling this off in New England especially when the weather is supposed to be a whopping 12 Degrees. For San Diego, QB Phillip Rivers is a game time decision, Antonio Gates has a dislocated toe that he still ran on in last weekend's victory over Indianapolis, and LaDanian Tomlinson who is supposed to play hasn't practiced all week because of a hyper extended knee. On September 16th 2007 when all these players were healthy New England still beat the Chargers 38-14. Good luck Bolts, your gonna need it, but there is no way your stopping the 17-0 New England Patriots from going to the Superbowl.

The Green Bay/Giants game should be more exciting where the anything can happen mantra is in full swing. You have One legendary QB and one rising star. On one hand you have Brett Favre who is one of the most adored players in NFL history. At 38 years old he is arguably having one of the best years of his illustrious career. On the other hand you have Eli Manning. The whiny bratty kid who wishes he was even in the same league as his brother Peyton let alone Favre. However, the Giants have been able to play well which has gotten them to the NFC Championship game. I think the Giants will come out swinging, but they will not be able to contain Brett Favre and his explosive offense.

Packers win, and the hype begins for possibly one of the biggest and best Superbowl matches of all time. 18-0 New England Patriots Vs Brett Favres Green Bay Packers.

Ya better watch out cuz my Bolts are just playing up the injuries so we can take your precious Pats by surprise! (Kinda like how Tom Brady has been listed on the Pats injury list for nearly 3 years with a bruised shoulder...really, Tom? Poor baby!) NE's Old Balls defense is going to have a full-on stroke (yes, Tedy, I said it and I'm going to hell) against LT and our young backs Turner and Sproles. If Beli-cheat is using the Week 2 game as a gage for confidence, he is sorely mistaken. Bolts needed time to gel under an entirely new coaching staff and they have come together as a force to be reckoned with. We upset Pittsburgh (who was heavily favored as well) in '94 and we're doin it again this year. And yes, Philip Rivers can talk all the shit he wants...cuz this is f'ing football!!! Everyone talks smack (even Brady who jawed at the mouth all over the place when he passed a TD over Anthony Smith during the Pitt game).

Bolts 27
Pats 24

The fawkin' Paytree-ots lewz they puhfekt seasawn!
